About AICP

Current members of the American Planning Association may apply to obtain the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification. Prospective applicants must meet certain education and experience requirements in order to qualify to take the exam. Application periods and exam windows are open twice per year.

Partnership Announcement

The Houston Section has partnered with Lorman Education Services (LES) to provide Continuing Maintenance (CM) credits for our AICP professionals and discounts for seminars and webinars. LES has been approved as a CM provider and have submitted seminar curriculum's to National for review and approval. Upon approval, the amount of credits per seminar will be advertised on our website as well as theirs.
